Meet Brian Deogratius Ndunguru And Akshey Mustapha Nyagali from Nachingwea Secondary School, who are developing their project: "Efficacy of Clove, Neem and Liquid Soap Extract as Natural Insectcide Against Bed Bugs in Boarding Schools".
This project at nachingwea secondary school boarding facilities tested clove, neem, and liquid soap extracts as natural insecticides against bed bugs. Results showed reduced infestations, healthier living conditions, and affordable application. The approach promotes eco-friendly pest management and can be extended to other schools.
By combining scientific investigation with practical problem-solving, these students are demonstrating how innovative research can contribute to community well-being and sustainable development.
