Meet Winfrida Raphael Augustino And Meshack Mohamed Njaid from Nachingwea Secondary School, who are developing their project: "Synergistic Biopesticide By Combining Mango Leaves Phytochemicals, Tobbacco Alkaloids and Surfactant Soap Technology".
This project aims to develop and test a natural biopesticide by combining mango leaf phytochemicals, tobacco alkaloids, and surfactant soap technology to fight against pests and plant diseases. Conducted at nachingwea secondary school garden, the initiative seeks to provide an eco-friendly, affordable, and effective alternative to synthetic pesticides.
By combining scientific investigation with practical problem-solving, these students are demonstrating how innovative research can contribute to community well-being and sustainable development.
We are proud to see young scientists using science to create positive change in their communities!
