Outreach Kagera

Science teachers from nine secondary schools in Kagera region met at Bukoba secondary school for YST workshop on 13th April 2012. The teachers were enthusiastic and they very much liked the idea of organizing YST competition as way of improving the status of science in the country. “YST is doing what has been missing in science education in Tanzania, encouraging hands-on science to address real problems in our society”, explained Mr. Muganyizi (Head Master Nyailigamba secondary school) 
The workshop was attended by teachers from the following schools:
